Your mother puts you in charge of showing Bertha around the community. You must take her by city bus to your house, your school, the post office, the pet store, the hospital, the restaurant, the bank, the library, the police department, the fire station and your father’s shop and explain to her the purpose of each place. You start early in the morning after breakfast but your mom says you have to be finished by dinner. Good Luck! Home Page Dinnertime!! Your Community Game Directions The goal of the game is to answer questions about each place you visit in enough time to be home by dinner. • To play the game you have to draw a card with the name of each place on it, then take the bus to that place. • To win the game you have to visit each place by dinnertime. • Quiz Questions Game Preparation • Gameboard: Print out slides 4. • “Place Cards: Print out slides 3 (preferably on heavy stock with a distinct color), then cut into individual card.
