Caribbean Winter League Baseball When the Major League Baseball season draws to a close and the winter has sets in, baseball fans throughout the US and Latin America continue to view and listen to their favorite sport and stars from the Dominican Republic , Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Venezuela. The tradition continues with many of the Major League Baseball superstars of Latino descent competing in warm weather winter baseball. These teams are comprised of players from their native countries competing with other teams to be the Caribbean World Series Champion. The Caribbean Winter League Baseball has featured such players as; Bernie Williams, Roberto Alomar, Juan Gonzalez, Jose Lima, Neifi Perez, Ramon Martinez, Vinny Castillo, Pedro Durazo, and many other Major League stars deliver a ray of sunshine into the homes of baseball fans everywhere. Caribbean World Series The season will culminate with Caribbean World Series Baseball (CWS) championship tournament in February of 2005 from Mazatlan Mexico. The championship teams representing the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico , Mexico and Venezuela will compete in a tournament of twelve games to decide the Caribbean champion. The games will be played in Mexico, February 2005. All championship games will be broadcast live from Mexico on Fox Sports en Español (National TV), Univision Radio ( WADO 1280 AM New York / WQBA 1140 AM Miami) providing the perfect vehicles for marketers to reach their desired target audience.

RPI, a leader in sports marketing communications has formulated a successful turnkey integrated event marketing multimedia program tied to the telecast of Caribbean World Series. The program consists of a promotional media campaign, sweepstakes incentives, in-store merchandising extensions, retail / trade incentive offers, community events, and in-game advertising media.

The championship teams of Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Venezuela will represent their countries in the CWS. The games will have a clean feed, up-linked via satellite for worldwide distribution. Games will be broadcast in Spanish on Fox Sports En Español Games will be broadcast in Spanish on radio in New York on Radio WADO 1280 AM and WQBA 1140 AM in Miami. The narrators have vast experience in broadcasting major sporting events such as the World Series, Super Bowl, and NBA Championships. Highlights available to all worldwide news services at no charge. The CWS will be supported in the U.S. with POS, retail promotions, consumer sweepstakes, tickets to live events, invitations to opening ceremonies and travel packages to Mexico.
