Please see sports camp description below: TINY HAWKS Tiny-Hawk programs help children fine-tune their motor skills with athletics. These programs teach the basic skills of the sport while fostering the natural thirst for discovery found at this age. Parents must stay on-site. Min. 12 / Max. 20 MINI-HAWK (SOCCER, BASEBALL & BASKETBALL) Mini-Hawk programs help young children explore sports in a day-program setting. There is no pressure, just lots of fun, while these young athletes participant in unique Skyhawks games. The staff is trained to meet the needs of young children. Each participant will receive a ball and t-shirt. Min. 12 / Max. 20 BASKETBALL Our Basketball program is for beginning and intermediate basketball players. Outdoor Adventures Summer Camps for Youth

Camp 1: August 18th—August 22nd, 9:00am—4:00pm Camp 2: August 25th—August 29th, 9:00am—4:00pm
(Some exercises at Lewis & Clark Park, transport by instructor) The skills and activities covered in our camps include, but are not limited to: - Rock climbing.
This includes gear orientation, safety clinics, bouldering, interpersonal communication, trust/team building, as well as technical and physical training.

Map, compass, and other navigational skills.
Includes handouts, equipment orientation, compass anatomy, in-class lessons, & field application.
- Rafting skills.
Entering/exiting, paddle technique, safety clinics, wet exits, environmental issues, in class exercises, and games.
- First aid.
This is based in the Wilderness First Aid course setting. We will relay basic and practical information to our young participants to enable them to have knowledge and confidence to deal with everyday occurrences.

Wilderness survival.
This lesson teaches how to construct debris shelters, methods of water purification, and how to tell time without a watch, etc.
- Trust building and interpersonal communication workshops.
We will promote personal trust abilities and inter-personal communication through a series of games, initiatives (new games), and exercises. In-depth details of each game will be provided.

Environmental sciences.
This will include: Plant and animal I.D., studying the various zones within the surrounding area, as well as helping the participant to better understand the Northwest Cascades and it’s regions.

Field games.
Pure fun! We will supervise a series of games to promote teamwork, group dynamics, and physical activity.

This trip is a great way to explore our surrounding waterways. Canoe tour participants should have canoed at least once before. Individual instruction is provided upon request as we tour. Oil Painting Class
Ages 15 & Up In the “Bob Ross” style of oil painting, you will start with a blank canvas and leave with a completed signed masterpiece all your own work. Taught by Judy Stubb & Pam Davis. Judy & Pam have been painting with this method for about 10 years and are now certified Bob Ross Floral, Landscape, and Wildlife Instructors. Beginners to advanced levels welcome!
