HomeStyles 2008 is taking place at Prairieland Park this weekend! This year the home show
will be especially popular given Saskatoon and Central Saskatchewan’s incredible market
activity. Covering over 200,000 square feet, over 250 exhibitor displays will allow the public to
interact with each of the companies’ products and learn about the services that each has to offer.

This year’s show includes a large variety
of exhibits from companies that can meet
the needs of anybody wishing to upgrade
or renovate their homes. Numerous
exhibitors in attendance at HomeStyles
2008 will be displaying the newest
innovations in everything for your home,
including flooring, countertops, cabinetry,
furniture, décor, fixtures, and appliances.
There are also many booths in the home
show that will showcase the latest
innovations for your yard, including
landscaping, decks, hot tubs and other
leisure accessories.

The many designers and experts in attendance at this year’s home show can provide you with
valuable advice on how to make the most of your space or answer your renovating and
decorating questions. Whether you are looking for indoor or outdoor upgrades and renovations,
HomeStyles 2008 is guaranteed to inform inspire.

Feature Presenters at HomeStyles 2008

HomeStyles 2008 features a number of experts in home improvement and design. This year
HomeStyles welcomes back Cheryll Gillespie, Canada’s Design Diva. Cheryll has provided
expert advice to people from across Canada and around the world. She is always up to date on
the latest trends and decorating tips. Cheryll’s presentations at HomeStyles are sure to give you
a number of great ideas that will be perfect for your home.

Also returning to the stage this year are Jim Caruk and Shell Busey. Jim Caruk, star of Real
Renos, is back by popular demand for the third straight year to speak to the HomeStyles 2008
visitors. The Housesmart Guy, Shell Busey, will also be taking the stage at HomeStyles to
provide valuable information on energy-conservation improvements and upgrades that can boost
a home’s value.

This year’s show will also feature a new presenter: Holli Appelquist of Holliberries Interiors in
Regina. In addition to her home decorating business, Holli teaches renovation planning and
decorating classes at SIAST in partnership with Benjamin Moore. Holli has been a guest speaker
at the Regina & Region Home Builders’ Association Spring Home & Garden Show & Sale, as
well as other prominent events, and promises to educate and entertain HomeStyles audiences
here in Saskatoon.

Building Homes, Building Careers at HomeStyles 2008

                                          Young people looking to build a rewarding and
                                          remunerative career for life need look no further than
                                          the Home Builders’ Career Centre at HomeStyles
                                          2008. The Career Center is a popular spot for
                                          teenagers looking to set out on their careers and also
                                          with men and women looking for a profitable career
                                          change. At the Career Centre, people can also watch
                                          SIAST students partake in building a Habitat for
                                          Humanity home that will be framed and finished in
                                          two days at HomeStyles 2008.

Doors at Prairieland Park are open Saturday from 10am to 9pm, and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
