Mission/Description
Mission Statement: Our mission is to prepare all students to build a knowledge base of business and
marketing skills and attitudes, and to apply those skills and attitudes in a constantly changing world in
order to be competent, productive and successful workers.


Course Description: This course is intended for those students who wish to learn a variety of software.
During the semester, students will have extensive exposure to Microsoft Office products. During the
semester, those students who wish can be certified in Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification,
from Microsoft, on the products of Word, PowerPoint, Excel at the Expert Level. Students who pass the
three MOS Expert exams will earn Honors credit. In addition, students will also be exposed to Access,
FrontPage, and Publisher. Other certifications can be continued through coursework in Independent
Study for Certification. Students enrolled in this course can also receive credit through Moraine Park
Technical College. A course highly recommended for any student seeking post-secondary education.
