JAMES L. BUDROS, CFP®
Jim Budros is a principal of Budros, Ruhlin & Roe, Inc., the Columbus, Ohio wealth
management firm. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certificant and has
worked in the financial planning, investment and trust industries for more than 30
Jim served on the boards of The Columbus School for Girls, where he was chair, and
Rocky Fork Hunt & Country Club. He serves on the board of the Kidd Family
Foundation and he is the co-chair of the Professional Council of The Columbus
Jim was elected the first Chair of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Practice
Standards, and served as a member of the CFP Board of Governors.
Jim has been named one of the “Best Financial Advisors” in the U.S. by Worth
magazine for six consecutive years.
He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Hanover College, an M.B.A. from
Texas Christian University and an M.S. in Financial Services from the American
College. He is a graduate of the Manufacturers Hanover Trust School in New York
and the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. He is a
member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the National Association of
Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and the nationally recognized wealth
management consortium, The Alpha Group.
