 Guidance
    OJT & Project Search
 In order to provide OJT, the Project Search site is required
to meet all of the vendor qualifications for OJT and have an
    executed contract with the Division.

 All contract rates, terms and conditions are applicable.

 All individual’s targeted for OJT must have a signed and
implemented Individualized Plan for Employment indicating
    OJT as a service.

 The Project Search site must receive a referral from the
Division prior to providing the OJT.
    OJT & Project Search
 All individual rotations/experiences should not be viewed as OJT,
    please consider the following:

 The rotation/experience that most closely relates to the
employment outcome identified on the Individualized Plan for
Employment would be the appropriate OJT

 To the extent possible, the OJT should be targeted for the latter
part of the individual’s final year with the school district.

 OJT can only be authorized in situations that do not involve
funding for the training through another source. For example, if
the School District provides staff resources and/or funding for
Project Search, which includes individual training, OJT may not be
    authorized.

 An average or typical OJT will last approximately 10 – 12 weeks.
