INSURANCE PRODUCER PRE-LICENSING COURSE PROVIDER LIST
(Requirement for Rhode Island Residents)
The following pre-licensing course providers have been approved by the Department of
Business Regulation (“Department”) to offer pre-licensing courses for insurance producers.
These pre-licensing courses are a prerequisite for all Rhode Island residents applying for an
Insurance Producer license. You must contact the providers directly for information relating to
any pre-licensing course. The appropriate pre-licensing course(s) must be completed prior to
application and examination, as the Department will not issue an Insurance Producer license
until this requirement has been satisfied.
