There are 37 Societies that make up the IEEE. Chapters are the local extension of Technical Societies. There are over 1400 Chapters around the world.

If you have already submitted report and had minimum 2 meetings in 2004, I am sorry for sending you this e-mail according to old information) Minimum 2 technical meetings are required for keeping a chapter active(please see Chapter Chair's Reference Guide pp.8: http://www.ieee.org/portal/cms_docs/tab/cha/ccrefguide.pdf) I would like to encourage you to have minimum 2 technical meetings this year and submit financial report of 2005 on time(deadline will be February 2006).
