SUBJECT: OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT Dear Ms. Employee: Welcome to Our Company Name! We are pleased to confirm our offer to have you join _______________________ as a senior billing specialist reporting to John Smith, commencing April 7, 2008 on the following terms: a) You will be on probation for ninety (90) days during which time we may terminate your employment at any time without notice or payment in lieu of notice. Upon the successful completion of your probationary period Company Name may extend an offer for a full-time salaried position with the company. b) Your gross cash salary during the probationary period of your employment is equivalent to $16 per hour payable, subject to statutory deductions, every two weeks not in advance. c) During your probationary period you are not eligible to participate in the Company benefits plan nor are you eligible for paid vacation or holidays. d) Your hours of employment are 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with 30 minutes off for lunch each full working day. e) All overtime must be expressly requested and authorized in advance by the Company; otherwise, it is worked at your own risk. f) Other Company Name policies are set forth in the Company’s employee handbook, a copy of which will be provided to you prior to the commencement of your employment with the company. g) Upon your acceptance, this letter will contain the entire agreement and understanding between you and the Company and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, communications, offers, representations, warranties, or commitments by or on behalf of the Company (oral or written). The terms of your employment may in the future be amended, but
only by writing and which is signed by both you and, on behalf of the Company, by a duly authorized officer. h) In the event a dispute does arise, this letter, including the validity, interpretation, construction and performance of this letter, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the State of Florida. Jurisdiction for resolution of any disputes shall be solely in Sarasota County, Florida.
Please let us know of your decision to join Company Name by signing a copy of this offer letter. Your offer is contingent upon your (1) signing of the Company's NonDisclosure / Non-Compete Agreement; and (2) providing proof of your eligibility to work in the United States; and (3) signing receipt of the Company’s employee handbook. You hereby represent to the Company that you are under no obligation or agreement that would prevent you from becoming an employee of the Company or adversely impact your ability to perform the expected services. If there is anything with which you do not agree, please feel free to discuss it with the undersigned.
