John Giduck Biography

Throughout his life, John Giduck has been a trial lawyer, soldier, business owner, college professor, bull
rider, national weightlifting champion, sky diver and scuba diving instructor. He holds a master’s degree
in Russian Studies and International Affairs from the University of Colorado, with a Certificate in Russian
History, Culture and Language from St. Petersburg State University in Russia. He has trained law
enforcement departments of all levels across the U.S., and severed as a consultant to several federal
agencies.

John holds the highest level certification in Homeland Security, and is a member of the Executive
Advisory Board of the American College of Homeland Security. He currently devotes his professional
time to the Archangel Group, a non-profit NGO providing consulting and training on anti-terrorism to
law enforcement and other agencies, and has worked in over 20 countries. As part of that work he is a
U.S. Army Special Forces hand-to-hand combat and firearms instructor, and has been inducted into
several international martial arts halls of fame.

Alan Malinchak Biography

Alan A. Malinchak currently leads the development and operation at ManTech University where he
serves as Director. He has twenty-nine years of leadership, management, administrative, and
investigative experience with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Gray Hawk Systems, ManTech
International and several academic institutions. In 2006 he received the Gold Achieving Impact Award
presented by the Chief Learning Officer Learning in Practice Symposium. Malinchak received his MS
degree in Criminology from Florida State University and his ABD in Criminal Justice Management from
Rutgers University.

Norby Rudel Biography

Norby Rudel is the President and Founder of Internal Performance International, a Texas based LLC
passionate about improving organizational performance in law enforcement. An award winning
speaker, writer and facilitator with over 18 years of experience in leadership and management, Norby
brings a dynamic interactive style to his presentations and workshops that grab your attention and get
you thinking about steps you can take right now to positively impact others in the workplace, the
community and at home.

Concurrent Training Topic:
Dignitary Procedures

This course will familiarize the officer with protective security details, advances, movement formations,
and motorcade arrivals and departures. Training will involve practical training exercises involving the
conduct of advance inspections, movement of the principal, and defending against attacks. A 24-hour
field training exercise will begin on Tuesday afternoon. The curriculum is based on the U.S. Department
of State “Dignitary Protection for the LEO” training course.

Spouse Itiniary

The spouse’s itiniary will be three days of fun-filled activites. Plans are being made to visit the following
attractions: Harrington House decorated for the holidays, Crafter’s Mall, Galleries at Sunset Center, the
Panhandle Arts Center and others, and dine at some of the areas finest cafes.
