ATTENTION TOURNAMENT POC’s

I want to thank you for choosing Tinker Golf Course for your golf tournament. Please be aware that we
will begin rebuilding our greens in July. We will continue to operate using 18 temporary greens, with all
of the holes being shortened, and a new par of 64 will be set.

We want to have the majority of our tournaments booked earlier in the year than we have had in the past.
If you have an “early bird” tournament, we will offer reduced rates for your tournament. For all
tournaments during the month of March, not only will we reduce the green fees and cart fees by 20%, we
will also provide a chopped BBQ lunch for only $2.00 per person. All tournaments during April will
receive 10% off green fees and carts and we will provide the lunch for $3.00 per person. Tournaments
conducted in May through the closing of the course will be required to pay normal prices.

If you cannot take advantage of the “early bird” specials and cannot host your event before we close,
please consider using Tinker Golf Course because will we be reducing our green fee and cart fees during
this period. During our renovation period, green fees will be reduced to $3.00 for E1-E4 and $5.00 for
E5 and above. Carts will be reduced to $5.00 per rider. We will also provide the BBQ lunch for $2.00
per person. If your event is a fundraiser, you might be able to raise more money during this period than
you normally would.

Thanks again for choosing Tinker Golf Course for your event.
      GENERAL
    INFORMATION
AMENITIES
Tinker Golf Course offers it’s guests an 18-hole Championship Golf Course, practice
putting and chipping green, pitching green and sand traps, and a driving range. The
clubhouse includes a well stocked Pro Shop, Grill and a Gentlemen’s and Women’s
Lounge (both of which include shower facilities). The complex is managed in a
relaxed “country-club” atmosphere with hospitality remaining our first priority.

TOURNAMENT BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
To schedule a first tee tournament, (a block of tee times), a minimum of 32 players is
required. First tee format tournaments are usually booked on Tuesdays and Thursdays
throughout the year. To schedule a shotgun event, (all players commencing play at
the same time at different hole locations), a minimum of 120 players is required.
Shotgun start tournaments will begin at 7:30 A.M. or 1:00 P.M. Shotgun events will
not be scheduled on two consecutive days. Shotgun events are normally scheduled on
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. There are no tournaments booked during the
weekends due to heavy play. However, the Golf Course does play host to various
annual tournaments for its authorized players and their guests.

TOURNAMENT REQUEST
Upon making your tentative booking, a Tournament Contract must be submitted to the
Golf Course Director. Upon receipt, our Administration Office will return a
confirmation letter for your records. A Tournament Contract must be submitted a
minimum of 30 days in advance of an event or the reservation will be dropped.

PAYMENT FOR GOLF COURSE SERVICES
It is the responsibility of the tournament chairman to collect all fees and charges for
his/her tournament in advance. Payment for all golf course services, with the
exception of shotgun tournaments, is due the day of the tournament. For shotgun
tournaments payment of the first 120 green fees is due five working days prior to the
scheduled event, with payment in full for the remaining fees due the day of the
tournament. Failure to comply with the advance shotgun start payment rule will result
in the cancellation of your event.
          GOLFING
        REQUIREMENTS
RIDING GOLF CARTS
Although riding golf carts are not mandatory, we do highly recommend their use
particularly for shogun tournaments. The use of golf carts in shotgun tournaments will
help to organize your tournament by making the check in and tournament start operate
smoothly. Speed of play is also helped by the use of golf carts. If you would like the
golf course staff to tag carts with the names of tournament participants, please provide
us with a copy of names and starting holes 24 hours prior to your event, our staff will
be happy to tag your carts. As tournament POC you are responsible for collecting cart
    fees for your outing

DRESS CODE
Dress and appearance will conform to United States Air Force standards as specified in
AFI 36-2903. Base uniform regulations will apply.
Appropriate golf attire will be worn at all times. No article of the uniform or mixture of
military/civilian attire will be worn while playing, except that military personnel may
practice on the practice putting/chipping green and driving range while in uniform.
(Combat boots are not allowed on the putting/chipping green)
The following items of apparel are prohibited: T-shirts, undershirts, muscle shirts, tank
tops, cut-offs or pants with frayed edges, athletic or gym shorts (any shorts without
pockets), sweat pants, swimming trunks and suits, abbreviated shorts, halter tops and
sets, bare midriff suits and bikini type apparel.
Appropriate dress (proper golf attire) is everyone's responsibility. A pride in personal
appearance and modesty is expected of authorized participants and their guests. Shirts
must be worn at all times while on the course. No one will be allowed on the golf
course facility (course, practice putting green, driving range, etc.) as a player, observer
or caddy while wearing high-healed shoes, hiking or combat boots, GI brogans,
orthopedic foot casts, flip flops or any other type of shoe that could cause damage to
the course. Smooth soled canvas or rubber shoes are permitted. Metal spikes are not
allowed. Spikeless or soft spike shoes only.
In any instances of questionable attire or cases not covered by this dress policy, the
manager on duty has the responsibility to determine what is “Appropriate dress and
    proper golf attire”.
Metal golf spikes are not allowed on Tinker Golf Course. Spikeless or soft spikes only.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE
All food and beverage must be secured form the Golf Course Grill. Any violations of this
requirement could lead to cancellation of future tournaments for your organization.

To provide your thirsty golfers with their favorite beverages while playing, the Golf Course
staff can provide beverage carts for your event.

***Private ice chests and coolers are not allowed on the golf course***

COMPETITION MARKERS
For the “Longest Drive” and “Closest to the Pin” markers, please indicate number of markers
and hole assignments on the Tournament Contract. The Golf Course Staff will prepare your
competition markers in advance and place them on the course. Common holes used for the Longest
Drive competition are: #5, and #18. For the Closest to the Pin, #2, 8, 11, 13, and 15 are available.

for your tournament two days prior to enable the staff to perform this service. Also the golf course
staff will prepare custom score sheets with your event or organizations logo, and hole assignments.
For custom score sheets please provide your logo along with your roster to the golf course staff.
Your logo will need to be on a diskette in either a BMP, GIF, of JPEG format.
TOURNAMENT PRIZES
We invite you to visit our Golf Shop to view the latest in state-of -the-art
equipment. A member of our golf staff will gladly assist you in choosing
an appropriate prize package for those lucky winners. Cash prizes are not
authorized for any event on Tinker Golf Course. Gift Certificates are also
available for your convenience and may be purchased in any dollar
   amount from our Pro Shop.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
Due to unforeseen inclement weather, the occasional “rain-out” is
inevitable. Please make early telephone contact with the Golf Course
Administrative Office should there be stormy or uncooperative weather
on the day of your event. The “General Rule” is that we do not close the
course; however, should the course become deemed unplayable, we will
try to reschedule on the next available date suitable to your agenda. In the
event weather conditions deteriorate after your event has started, it may
be necessary for the golf course to call all players off of the course. A
siren will be sounded to inform all players that the course is closed due to
   threatening weather conditions.
