OSSU 600-4 Post Training Task List
Now that you’ve completed the OSSU 600-4 Using Templates course, it’s time to put what you’ve learned into
practice.

As you begin to use ExamWRITER to record electronic medical records, we recommend that you complete the task
list below, checking off items after you’ve completed them. It is not required that you complete this task list,
although using this task list as an implementation tool will greatly improve your implementation experience.

Creating Templates:
Tasks To Complete to Create Templates Notes
Use the templates that came preloaded in
    ExamWRITER as examples.
    1. On the ExamWRITER main window, click Tools
       and select Template Maintenance.
    2. Click New.
    3. Type the name of the template in the Template
Name text box. The name of the template should
reflect the type of exam for which you will use the
       template.
    4. If desired, rename the preloaded templates. You can
type a “z” before the names of any templates that
you want to appear at the bottom of the list of
       templates (they are listed alphabetically).
    5. Click Save/Exit. A new exam template opens with
the name of the template at the top of the exam
       record.
