2010 will be an exciting year for the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce! I love hearing the stories and
looking at the pictures that depict the growth and opportunities we have been so fortunate to have experi-
enced in Noblesville and 2010 will mark the 75 th Anniversary of the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce –
the oldest Chamber in Hamilton County.

But just because we are the oldest, doesn’t mean we can sit back and do business as usual. “Your suc-
cess is our business” is more than a tagline. We are continually looking for ways to improve our services
that provide value to our members and help them be successful. Just last year, we started several new
initiatives to enhance membership and our new website is just one example. If you haven’t seen it yet, take some time and
check it out! Opportunities to reach out to the community through online coupons and advertising are just a couple of the up-
grades and there are more to come! It seems everyone is talking Green and our newest event, “Green is Gold” showcased our
members that promote green initiatives. And finally, our Young Professionals Group is a great, energetic group of young entre-
preneurs working to keep the momentum moving forward.

We aren’t done yet, though. As we plan for 2010, health and wellness are important to our members and our Corporate Chal-
lenge will support that as well as offer an opportunity for some friendly competition. And finally, our 2010 Celebration! Event
in November will be the highlight of the year! We’re pulling out all the stops to make this a very special evening of honoring
our past, celebrating the success of our Noblesville business community and looking forward to the future – all while having a
great time!

Your Chamber welcomes ideas and suggestions from the membership on programs and events you would find of value, so
please be sure to share those or even better, join a committee! It’s a great way to become involved and get to know others in
a smaller group setting. Our Program of Work outlines the mission of each committee and every member is welcomed to join
as many as they want. Attend a few and find the ones that fit your passion (and schedule!)

I am so honored and excited to serve as your Chair and look forward to hearing from you on your success!

On December 16th, the Chamber hosted a presentation by Dr. Libbie Conner, Superintendent of the Noblesville Schools. The
topic was the scope of the projects the School Corporation is considering as part of the spring Referendum vote and its impact
on the business community. It was clear that the School Board and School Administration had spent a great deal of time ana-
lyzing needs and minimizing the financial impact on the community. Additional information about this important issue has
been posted at As a Chamber, we supported the Referendum last year and suggest you visit their
website to become familiar with the issue.
