PURPOSE:
The purpose of this presentation is to further the general public’s understanding of how Annapolis has
grown and changed in recent dates. The presentation presents data on several major topic areas including
Socioeconomic, Employment, Housing, Traffic/Parking, and Community. Data on trends are presented in
charts, graphs, and tables. In some instances, data for Anne Arundel County and the State of Maryland are
added for purposes of comparison. We hope that this information can be used by a variety of persons from
students to policy analysts to residents and is used for a variety of purposes ranging from wanting to know
more about Annapolis to writing a school report to informing public policy making decisions.

Homes for America, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit housing corporation, headquartered in Annapolis, which specializes in developing
and preserving housing for low and moderate income households and special needs populations in the mid-Atlantic states. Their

communities. As a developer of affordable housing, through providing development services to nonprofit organizations, and through
