2. State whether there is improved or decreased performance.
An important thing to note is that the first administration of Writes Upon Request is a narrative prompt and the
second is an expository prompt. Two different writing styles requiring different skills are required on the
different types of prompts. Our goal is to get every child to a level 4 on a scale of 1-6. Our younger students are
making gains toward that goal as they develop their writing skills.

                                       SCIENCE (ALL STUDENTS)
1. List the baseline data of student achievement collected this school year, the comparable data, and the
   overall performance data trends.

Note: The data reflected is gathered from the students’ first and second nine weeks report card grades.
Kindergarten and first grade students do not receive grades the first nine weeks.

Report Card shows students making passing grades A-C
1st Nine Weeks 2nd Nine Weeks
    Grade 2 95.88 92.63
    Grade 3 98.80 96.47

2. State whether there is improved or decreased performance.
Gains cannot be calculated as different benchmarks are assessed each nine weeks. The data shows that over 88%
of our students in grades 3 through 5 are mastering grade level science benchmarks as they are taught and
   assessed.
