Vic Panus is a business-tax lawyer practicing throughout Missouri
and Kansas. He advises privately-owned businesses on legal and
tax matters ranging from development of entry-acquisition tactics
through implementation of individually-tailored business exit
strategies. Owner-led and family-run companies finding
themselves at the crossroads often engage Vic to guide the
business and the entrepreneurial family through transition-sale-
succession. In addition, he serves as a consultant to diverse
business and financial advisors. Vic earned two law degrees – J.D.
and LL.M. (Taxation) – and holds a Certificate in Family Business
Advising [The Family Firm Institute].


                  Tim Skarda is President and Founder of Allied Business Group,
                  Inc., a mergers and acquisitions and business valuation firm in
                  Leawood, Kansas. Accredited as a Certified Business Intermediary
                  (CBI) by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), Tim
                  has successfully completed numerous business sale transactions
                  throughout the Midwest. Tim received a bachelor’s degree in
                  business administration and an MBA in finance from the University
                  of Kansas. He is an active member of the Association for Corporate
                  Growth (ACG) and the International Business Brokers Association.


Kelly Skarda leads Allied Business Group’s business valuation and
litigation services department. A Certified Business Appraiser
(CBA) through the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA), she
has provided business valuations to clients in a wide range of
industries, including wholesale distribution, manufacturing,
construction, retail, healthcare and financial institutions. Kelly
graduated magna cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in
finance from Kansas State University and received her MBA
in finance from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.


                  John Azodi, President of Azodi CPA & Investments, PC, is dedicated
                  to assisting clients in achieving their investment and retirement
                  goals while utilizing the tax laws for their benefit. He has served
                  as a Registered Representative since 1998 and as a Certified
                  Public Accountant since 1984. John received a bachelor’s degree
