Parks Attributes and Values (the NRPA model has been modifed to fit KS RecFin

Park_ID      For KS a numeric identification system
             has been set up at the state level. Uses
             a combination of EITHER the STCOFIPS
             or AGENCY_ID plus park_no.) Should
             be assigned only at the county

P_ID         A sequential number assigned at the
             state level ONLY given regardless of
             county. Being kept for now as it is used
             by the RecFinder website. Do not
             modifiy
AGENCY_ID    number assigned to agencies with
             statewide presence (state and federal
             agencies and some large not for profits.
             (to be used instead of STCOFIPS for
             calculation of Park_ID)

STCOFIPS     The FIPS code for state and county
             combined where the majority of the park
             resides.
park_no      the sequential number of parks in a
             county or under a statewide agency's
             jurisdiction (can be voids in the
             sequential system)
UNIT         when a park is made up of special sub-
             units, utilize this 2 digit alpha-numberic
             system to assign a value. All parks
             made up with single polygons or
             multiple polygons not significantly
             different to warrant unit status should
             be assigned a value of "a".

UNIT_ID      a combination of the eleven digit
             Park_ID and the 2 digit Unit values. (to
             be assigned at the county level)
Name         Proper name of the park, no
             abbreviations
Address      Location Address of park
CityMuni     Nearest city, town or community where
             majority of the park resides.
County       County where the park unit physically
             resides. If a park property covers more
             than one county, be sure different park
             units are assigned to the segments in
             each county. 2 digit abbreviation

CO_name      name of county where the park unit
             physically resides. 2 digit abbreviation.
State              State or territory where the park exists.


Street Number      Number assigned for the street address,
                   e.g., 105 Pine St.
Street Name        The actual street name
Street Type        Official designation of type, e.g., Ave.
