R. J. ALEY BUILDING CONTRACTOR L.L.C.
PRODUCTION SCHEDULE & QUALITY CONTROL CHECK LIST
Document
Revision 7/13/2006
JOB: date.
Date Job
ADDRESS: started
CARPENTER/LEAD CARPENTER:
This list is a valuable tool just like your hammer, circular saw or tape measure. Just like your hammer,
circular saw or tape measure, if you don't use it, it will not help you. At a minimum it should be
NOTE: reviewed once a week by the Lead Carpenter with another Carpenter or the Production Manager.
Preferably it should be reviewed daily. The more you use this Tool the smoother your jobs will run and
the fewer problems & call backs you will have.
Safety First! As an employee of this company you are responsible and accountable to see that safe
working practices and Company policy are strictly adhered to by everyone on the job site regardless of
how You, other Employees or Subcontractors have handled similar situations in the past. Use eye &
SAFETY FIRST!
hearing protection, use respirators and dust masks. Use guard rails on scaffold and pump jacks. Don't
take chances with safety, it may be your last. For further information on R. J. Aley safety policies refer
to your employee handbook that the Company has provided you with.
Company Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.) are in Red and as an employee of this company you
are responsible and accountable to see that they are strictly adhered to by everyone on the job site
regardless of how You, other Employees or Subcontractors have handled similar situations in the past.
S.O.P. NOTES
For further information on R. J. Aley S.O.P.'s or questions on proper construction detail check with the
production manager or refer to the JLC Field guides Volumes 1 & 2 or Taunton Press CODE CHECK
BOOKS that the Company has provided you with.
NOTE: Client selection reminders are in Blue
Scheduling reminders are in Orange. To Schedule sub contractors it is Company S.O.P. to make your
first call 2 weeks before you need them on the job. Then to confirm that they are still on schedule &
have not forgotten their commitment, again 1 week before, then 3 days before and finally 1 day before.
SCHEDULE NOTES: The point of multiply calls is not to hound the sub, but to re-confirm their time commitment to our jobs
& see if there have been delays in the subs schedule that may prevent them from meeting their original
commitment. In the event that the sub is not able to keep their original commitment, by following the
above call schedule, you should have ample time to adjust your job site schedule accordingly.
If you have suggestion that may improve this list or feel additional items should be added please
NOTE:
contact the Production Manager. Any input you have will be highly appreciated. Thank you

238 laps over the edge of shelves and
