BOOK REPORT - Create a Wanted Poster:
(I handed out colored pages for the final version of the posters)
I showed them an example of a "wanted"
I told them to choose a character from the book they read for their wanted poster. It
doesn't have to be a crime that the character committed, but it could be some kind of
fault, inadequacy, failing, or shortcoming. One boy asked if he could choose the
author of the book and I said yes (I think that's a wonderful idea!)
At the top of the poster:
Name of main character
Description of what the character is “wanted” for (the trait) (20 points)
Three examples of the character showing this trait. (30 points)
Amount of reward
You may include a graphic
At the bottom of the poster:
1. The title
