                                          CALL FOR PAPERS

With great pleasure, we announce the publication of the inaugural issue of AJSE-Mathematics. AJSE-
Mathematics is a non-profit open-access international journal published by King Fahd University of
Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

Beginning from 2010, this international peer-reviewed journal will be published in two volumes annually,
appearing in May and November. Besides the basic aim of publishing high quality peer-reviewed research
articles, sufficient care is given to the timely processing of the articles received for possible publication.
Generally, we make decision on an article received within 6 months. The articles recommended by the
referees are also published within 6 months of acceptance by the Editorial Board, and usually earlier
online.

The benefits of publishing in AJSE-Mathematics include:

1. High standard editorial and refereeing processes
2. Reasonable publication time
3. An open-access journal
4. No publication charges for the authors or their institutions
5. Online submission and tracking system

Editorial Policy: The international Editorial Board is committed to making the journal into one of the
leading journals in the region within the next few years. Manuscripts will be considered provided they are
original, well written, have not been published already and are not under consideration for publication or
in press elsewhere. The journal publishes carefully refereed research papers and covers all mainstream
areas of research in mathematical sciences and their applications. Survey papers may be submitted for
publication by invitation only. A strict refereeing policy is applied. Acceptance is based on positive
recommendations of two international reputable referees.

Reviewing/Indexing: Papers appearing in AJSE-Mathematics will be reviewed/indexed in Mathematical
Reviews (MathSciNet) and ZentralBlatt.

Online Submission: Papers have to be prepared using LaTeX. The compiled PDF-file shall be submitted
online after registering at http://www.editorialmanager.com/ajse-math. For more information, you may
please visit our website http://ajse-mathematics.kfupm.edu.sa.

I take this opportunity to request you to consider submitting an original research paper of your interest to
AJSE-Mathematics for possible publication. Promoting this journal among your coauthors and
colleagues will be highly appreciated.

Sincerely yours,

Dr. Jawad Abuhlail
Associate Managing Editor, AJSE-Mathematics
