BOOK TITLE: All Quiet On The Western Front

TIME PERIOD:
During a zombie outbreak, so beyond 2020
LOCATION(S):
Possibly in the United States, in a studio. But, if I had
to go overseas it would be somewhere were WWI took place, like
Germany or England
TARGET MARKET/DEMOGRAPHIC FOCUS:
I would like to reach is young to old, anyone who wants to
see it. I think that the old people would find it
interesting because they could learn something they never
knew a lot about and the younger kids could like because
they could learn something.
I think the kids would learn the most because they could
probably grasp the concept of the movie quicker than some
of the adults.
CAST:
Pick at least 5 characters from your novel and suggest
possible casting choices. You may suggest friends from
school, movie/television/music celebrities, professional
athletes, etc
Paul- Dave Mustaine from Megadeth
Katzinsky- Kerry King from Slayer
Kemmerich- Robert Pattinson from Twilight
Himmelstoss- Lars Ulrich from Metallica
Detering- Dirk Nowitzki from the Dallas Mavericks
LOGLINE:
The only way that it will catch the audience attention is
to have a load of explosions. The poster will say “THIS
MOVIE WILL BLOW YOUR MIND”
SYNOPSIS:
The plot is that there is this man name Paul Baumer and
it’s the year 2024 and a zombie outbreak happens and there
are 5 characters: Paul Baumer, a 19 year old who is going
off to college soon and wants to be in the military.
Kemmerich, everybody calls him by his last name because no
one knows his first name. Katzinsky, a rocker who’s
favorite bands are Slayer (note the irony), Megadeth,
Metallica, etc. Himmelstoss, a total stick in the mud who’s
all work and no play, he considers himself the leader, but
no one wants him to be the leader, and Detering, a person
who keeps to himself and so there’s a mystery behind him
and so all 4 are trying to figure him out.
Some of the major themes are humanity, love, fighting, and
etc. One of the main points is going to be Human Nature;
the zombies are going to represent how we as humans can be
vicious, when tempted.
RELEVANCE:
The issues that are being explored are relevant because it
would be relevant to the conspiracy theorists that a zombie
outbreak will happen and how we can fight it.
This is important for people to watch because if this did
ever did happen, they can learn how to fight a zombie( how
to kill one, where you would be save, how set up a proper
zombie plan, other than just stand out in a hoard and fight
till the death, and etc.)
This is also political and social because the government
would keep cases of zombie outbreaks/or a zombie accident
secret, so that the people would never find out about it.
This is related to WWI and WWII because in a nutshell they
are fighting over territory, land, and survival. You
wouldn’t be able to talk to them because zombies are
unreasonable and unlike Vietnam, there will be no one
protesting… more than likely they’ll be dead.
