Tom Green Tom Green left Colonial Properties Trust in early 2008 to form Providence One Partners with his partner, Michelle Pierce. He has an extensive commercial real estate development, acquisition and management background and strong brokerage relationships across Florida. Prior to forming Providence One Partners, he spent the previous 8+ years growing Colonial Properties Trust’s Florida Office Holdings and leading Colonial Properties Trust’s Flagship Development, Colonial TownPark. Under Tom’s leadership, Colonial’s portfolio increased from 370,000 square feet to over 6 million square feet, including offices in 4 cities. Colonial TownPark has blossomed into one of the premier mixed-use developments in the United States. This 175-acre visionary development integrates Class “A” office space with both Town Center retail and multifamily components. Colonial TownPark has received numerous awards for its unique integration of Live, Work, and Shop elements. In large part due to the success of Colonial TownPark, Colonial Properties Trust was selected by NAIOP as “National Developer of the Year” in 2003. Colonial was also named “Central Florida Developer of the Year” in both 2002 and 2003. Tom is a past member of NAIOP’s National Mixed-Use Forum and has been a consistent speaker on Mixed-Use developments. Providence One Partners is focused on strategic development and investment opportunities utilizing the principals’ experience across multiple product types. Providence One also provides brokerage services primarily representing buyers/tenants/investors. Tom is a graduate of the University of Central Florida, holds both the CCIM and RPA designations, and is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker. He has been in the real estate industry since 1987 and has a solid understanding of the Florida Real Estate marketplace having lived in both Central and South Florida during his career. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for American Communities Properties Trust, which is publicly traded on the American Stock Exchange. Tom is a past Executive Committee member of the Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida and currently serves on the Executive Committee of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Orlando Chapter. He is a past Chairman of the Seminole County Regional Chamber of Commerce, and a graduate of Leadership Florida. Tom has received numerous awards throughout his career including Colonial Properties Trust E.L. Lowder award in 2004, the company’s highest honor. In 2003, he was recognized by the Orlando Business Journal as one of Central Florida’s 10 Most Influential Businessmen. In 2005, he received the “Power of 10” award which was given to the 10 leaders which made the most significant impact on establishing Central Florida as a world-class community over the previous 10 years. In 2006, Tom was named Seminole County Business Leader of the Year.
