My Story
I coach brides to achieve the best shape of their lives in preparation for the big day. My programs integrate nutrition, training, and counseling sessions for the woman who wants to stun her guests at the wedding and leave people talking for years to come. Not to mention, leave their jaws wide open when they look back at the hundreds of wedding photos taken. For a long time I felt unhappy with my body and was convinced that there was no hope for me to be as fit as a woman on a health magazine cover. It baffled me that my best friend and I could eat the same foods and exercise similarly but looked so different. When I first attempted to eat healthier meals, I faced ridicule from my family and friends, often being accused of obsessing over my body. While most of my peers fell into poor eating habits and put partying over fitness, I grew more and more curious about how to get in shape. Finally I took charge of my mind and body and learned as much as I could about what is to be truly healthy. When I saw my body transform into a size 2 toned physique, I knew I was on to something. Being able to advise others with their nutrition and training is one of the most rewarding experiences, because of the flood of information out there on weight loss products and diets.

Training Philosophy
Diets do not work! By severely changing your eating habits based around a diet program such as NutriSystem, South Beach, and Weight Watchers, your metabolism will actually slow down. Your initial weight loss, from starving your body, will in fact make your body more efficient at storing food. The end result is you will gain weight. Our metabolisms will perform at a peak level when whole, natural foods are consumed and matched with a proper exercise program designed specifically for you. That’s what you need and that’s what I do. Weight Loss Myths: “Eating less will produce weight loss.”- In order to burn fat and build muscle you actually need to eat more frequently and a balanced mix. “Lifting weights will make me bulky and gain weight.”Strength training will build muscle on your body, but the more muscle you have the more fat your body can burn while at rest. “Running and other high intensity exercise will burn fat”Low intensity cardio over longer periods will produce weight loss much faster than working too hard too fast. “I’m overweight because my parents were overweight…it’s genetic”- Genetics only play a 10% role in our fitness, the rest is your lifestyle.
