The minutes of the regular meeting held on the 24th day of August, 2004, in the Elementary
School Media Center. The meeting was called to order at 8:01 p.m. by Allen Schmidt,

The Board and Superintendent reviewed the Superintendent Goals for the 2004-05 School Year.

Motion #04-05-45: Motion by Haagenson, seconded by Glenz, and carried to approve a 2-year
lease agreement between the Minnesota Department of Administration, acting for the benefit of
the Department of Public Safety, and the Paynesville Area Middle School, with a start date of
July, 2004 through June of 2006, to provide a corner section of the Middle School parking lot to
conduct motorcycle training on Thursdays.
Motion #04-05-46: Motion by Strobbe, seconded by Glenz, and carried to approve a special
education instructional assistant assignment for Terry Davidson, for the 2004-05 School Year.
Motion #04-05-47: Motion by Glenz, seconded by O Fallon, and carried to approve ECFE
teaching assignments for Becki Quade and Sarah Kruger, for the 2004-05 School Year.
Motion #04-05-48: Motion by Haagenson, seconded by Dingmann, and carried to approve ECFE
teaching assistant assignments for Kris Lang, Tammy Neu, and Diane Gilk for the 2004-05
Motion #04-05-49: Motion by Stanger, seconded by Strobbe, and carried to approve additional
special education time for Jeanne Olmscheid, Bernie Roeser, and Mary Heinen for the 2004-05
Motion #04-05-50: Motion by Strobbe, seconded by O Fallon, and carried to approvea district
wide substitute caller, Barb Hanson, for the 2004-05 School Year.
Motion #04-05-51: Motion by Haagenson, seconded by Glenz, and carried to approve a
resignation request from Trisha Engelke, Middle School Instructional Assistant in Special
Education, effective immediately.
Motion #04-05-52: Motion by Stanger, seconded by Haagenson, and carried to approve a 6.5
hours per day assignment for Laura Lindeman, as Middle School Instructional Assistant in
Special Education, effective for the 2004-05 School Year.
