Between planning for the biggest day of your life, keeping up with the unending 'to-do' list, and managing the roller coaster of emotions you are experiencing, it is amazing that any brideto-be can ever get to the gym, let alone find the time to go there regularly. Here are five action steps to ensure you have ample time for workouts and everything you need on hand to eat healthy while on the run. Now you can confidently order the right foods when out to dinner with friends. Tip #4 - Cook in bulk on Sunday afternoon Tip #1 - Plot your workouts Dig up that apron because cooking multiple meals simultaneously makes food preparation efficient and cost-effective. Rather than attempting to cook breakfast every morning, especially when short on time, cook 3 breakfast meals on Sunday and consume them as you go in the week. Take a look at your schedule for the coming week and pencil in when and where you can blast extra calories. Have an opening from 5 to 6 pm on Tuesday? Make an appointment with yourself to jog around the neighborhood followed by a relaxing set of stretches. Also, taking a few extra minutes on the weekend to write down basic workouts for the week, including what body parts to exercise on particular days will allow you to hit all of the major muscle groups of the body and breeze right through the crowds at the gym. Tip #5 - Display a picture of your wedding dress in a place you will see it first thing in the morning Constantly reminding yourself of why you should get up for an early morning workout rather than sleeping in will keep you on track on a daily basis. Every single workout will lead to your stunning entrance down the aisle that guests will be talking about for years to come. Tip #2 - Have 5 days worth of clean gym clothes on-hand Tip #6 - Make a commitment to yourself If and only if you decide right now that you are worth the planning and dedication of what a truly strong body and mind entails, will you reap the benefits of your hard work and sacrifice. The truth is, it’s much easier than you think. Don’t understand what some of the terms in this article mean? Drop me an email to learn more! Best Regards, Lauren Benyola You know what your favorite tank tops and ankle socks are. Keep your favorite workout attire and other related items, such as small towels, hair ties, etc., together to easily grab what you need as you go. Keep your recommended dietary intake sheet in a convenient location Post your calculated nutrition needs for each day right on the refrigerator; this way when you are in a rush in between tasks you know precisely what to eat and how much. Likewise, write your macronutrients (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats) on a small piece of paper, and place it in your wallet or purse. Tip #3 - E-mail me with any questions. I would love to hear from you. Lauren@ActionFigureWoman.com
