A Abstract — This LTEX document provides instructions to prepare and submit documents for the proceedings of the conference Incontri di Fisica delle Alte Energie (IFAE) 2004. The proceedings will be issued in electronic form only. The deadline for submission is June 30, 2004. This file (IFAE-template.tex) can be used as a template for the preparation of contributions.
1 Introduction
The proceedings of IFAE 2004 will be collected and issued in electronic form and distributed to the participants of the conference on CD-ROM. Documents should be written in English. There is no limitation on the number of pages. The deadline for submission is June 30, 2004. In the following, few rules for typesetting and submitting your paper are described.
2 Document Formatting
Please type your document using IFAE-template.tex as a model. You simply have to fill in the title of the talk, the list of authors with affiliations, the abstract and the full text in the relevant places. Please include all text in one single input file.
2.1 Tables and Figures

Table captions should be above the corresponding table, while figure captions should be below the corresponding figure. Use the abbreviation “Fig.” for references, except in the figure caption and at the beginning of a sentence. Do not abbreviate “Table”.

2.2 References
References [1] should be formatted as shown below [2].
2.3 Miscellaneous
Please follow few additional rules: • Section and document titles should be capitalized; • Particle names and units should be written in Roman. Only variables should to be written in math mode. Example:. GeV/c, H, Z, W; • If possible please avoid defining macros;
A • Please avoid using special LTEX packages.
2.3.1 Subsubsection You can use subsubsections too.
3 Submission
A Documents should be submitted to proceedings-ifae@ph.unito.it. Please send the L TEX source as well as figures, in eps format, in a single tar file. You may also include the resulting postscript, dvi or pdf file; however the final document will be regenerated from the source. Please name the latex source with your surname, e.g. Author.tex.
We plan to distribute the conference proceedings on a CD-ROM before next summer. To allow this, contributions should be submitted by June 30, 2004.
