Main objectives:

 To help create an appropriate environment for
 the Community Strategy and Action Plan for
 renewable energy sources.

 The programme also encourages both private

Geothermal Power Project
Main purpose:

to develop an integrated feasibility study on installing
small-scale geothermal power plants in Hungary
combined by heating and balneological use through
cascading system, providing a model for extended
application throughout the Accession Countries and
the EU-15

Geothermal Power Project
The reasons of the favourable evaluation:
 -the project will improve information dissemination
 and co-ordination at the international, Community,
 national, regional and local level
 -the development will increase investor confidence

 -close links with the countries of Central and Eastern
 Europe in the renewable energy field
 -it will increase operational capacity for the production
 of energy from renewable energy sources

What are we thinking about?
-general assortment
-the structure is similar to a normal feasibility study
-but it won’t supplement the well-detailed feasibility
study
-main benefit: one process based on one method at one
time
-main drawback: not pretty much detailed

 selected operating scenarios
