Congresswoman Corrine Brown Supports Funding For the FPA-UNF Umbrella Initiative in FY 20010 Budget
The FPA-UNF Umbrella Initiative 1 is a Pilot Project aimed at empowering the Florida Small Business Development Center Network (FSBDCN) more effectively deliver procurement assistance to small businesses owned by minorities and women. 2 The Project specifically focuses on the SBDC current priorities which are aimed at tailoring their services to better serve underserved/minorities and women; expand procurement assistance and enhance access to capital. This project aims to expand services, save money, create jobs and be replicated in other states.
