Dear Parents and PYSO Students, The Yearbook Committee is in the process of working on a 2007-2008 yearbook to commemorate your season with PYSO. One free copy of the yearbook will be distributed to each PYSO student at the end of the season, and additional copies can be ordered at the price of $15.00 each. Also, students providing the yearbook with more than one advertisement will receive an additional free yearbook. The yearbook will be similar to last year’s. It will have a color cover and approximately forty pages including individual portraits of all PYSO members as well as candid photos and information about the 2007-2008 season. Copies of your student’s individual portrait are available for purchase by using the form included in this packet. Last year the cost of producing the yearbook was completely covered by the sale of photo packages and advertisements. Last year’s advertising was a combination of personal and business ads, and we hope that each family will assist us by purchasing or soliciting at least one or two ads. They are available in full page, half page, quarter page, and business card sizes, and it is a great way to recognize a teacher/tutor or to honor a student’s achievement. See the enclosed page for ideas on producing your ad. Included in this packet are an order form for portraits and additional yearbooks and a form to use for purchasing ads, and additional information on advertising. The portrait order form must be returned by mail to Swee Lee from the Yearbook Committee or returned during any PYSO practice up to March 23rd. The ad reservations must be made by mailing the form to Laura Campbell or returned during any PYSO practice on or before March 23rd; final ad copy must be received by Laura Campbell by April 15th. Please see the enclosed forms for additional information. You can also assist the yearbook committee by sending us photos that you have taken during the PYSO season. These can be e-mailed or given to a member of the Yearbook Committee. Portrait Packages are available to you featuring the individual photo taken of you with your instrument. Each packet or unit contains one 5”x7” photo and four wallets for the price of $12.00. You can purchase as many units as you like. Each student will receive one free yearbook. Additional yearbooks are available at the cost of $15.00 each but must be ordered in advance.
