Key researcher: the academic staff member who takes responsibility for initial discussions and negotiations with the bid leader on the University’s involvement leading to the Stage One application and the detailed tables included in the Stage Two application. Coordinates the involvement of other University of Adelaide researchers.

The University of Adelaide is a research provider, not a research funder. Along with other Go8 universities it generally will not contribute cash directly to new CRCs. Where it is proposed that the University is the lead or a core participant, the CRC is in an area of strategic interest to the University, and a cash contribution is required, it is expected that any cash that the University contributes to a CRC will be tied to projects to be conducted at the University of Adelaide.
