      Overview of the ASEAN ICT
             Cooperation
 A significant advancement from an ASEAN regional
integration into development of an ASEAN Community.
 ICT: an enabler and important sector to speed up the
     ASEAN integration process
 ICT: the first economic sector in ASEAN to have its own
     integration agreement “the e-ASEAN Framework
     Agreement” in 2000.
 To realize (by 2015) a goal of creating an e-society in a
  “connected, vibrant and secure ASEAN
Community” with free movement of goods, services,
investment, skilled labour, and freer flow of capital.
