                             What do I need?
To apply you must be in Year 12 studying post-16 courses, which would allow you to
progress on to a materials-related degree course. The awards will not be given on the
basis of academic performance, rather we are looking for people who are interested in the
subject and show enthusiasm for finding out more. The Scholarships will also provide £50
of books during Year 13 and will continue if you study Materials at a participating
University (Birmingham, Imperial, Leeds, Liverpool, Loughborough, Manchester, Oxford,
Queen Mary and Westfield, Sheffield and Swansea).
