Dear OVBS Teacher,

This Arts & Crafts Guide was developed to assist you in developing Arts & Crafts exercises
for your OVBS students. Most of these projects can be implemented with little cost or
training. You may consider shopping around at various arts and crafts stores, or even
searching online for bulk materials. We have included a list of links you can try as well at the
end of this guide. If you find other arts and crafts that are more applicable or appropriate,
please feel free to utilize them.

We recommend that you try these ahead of time to ensure the steps and directions are
complete. Furthermore, most of these ideas are flexible; changes can be made to reflect the
theme and age group. Encourage the students to be creative so the crafts become more
meaningful. Be sure to select age-relevant activities.

On the final day of OVBS, be sure to showcase all the arts and crafts to the parents and
attendees. Perhaps, you can even place them in a visible location in the church for a few weeks
for people to look at. Be sure to give them back to the students so that they can take them
home.

We are appreciative to Mrs. Rajini George, Boston for the suggestions for Arts & Crafts
activities. We trust that these activities will be useful in planning your OVBS this year. Should
you come across new ideas, please email them to OVBS_America@Yahoo.com so we may
make use of them for next year.

With prayer and best wishes,

Mrs. Omana Philip
OVBS Director - American Diocese
