LexisNexis Unveils New Look and Enhancements
More than three-quarters of early users agree that updates provide them with faster, easier access to content
and tools, resulting in better time-management at no additional cost

workflow solutions, today introduced a new user interface and key enhancements to lexis.com® – its flagship online
legal research platform.

clean, simple interface that enables easy access to the essential content and research tools most important to each
individual user at no additional cost. The streamlined and customizable interface presents access to all critical tasks
and sources on a single page for easier navigation and fewer clicks. For example, users can now easily customize the
interface to the areas most relevant to them – including practice areas or jurisdiction. By surfacing all customized
content, users will now have a clearer picture of what is available to them.
Additionally, lexis.com now provides access to search results from open source content via Lexis® Web, giving
customers relevant free legal content alongside trusted documents and services directly from LexisNexis. All of these
changes translate into more efficient and productive work for legal professionals and delivery of greater service to

professionals, the new interface and enhancements have earned positive feedback. For example, results from a
survey of early users found:
l More than three-quarters (76%) of early users agree that the enhancements will provide faster and easier
access to content and tools they need to make better use of their time and subscription to lexis.com.
l Almost three-quarters (71%) of early users agree that the ability to access “open source” information or
results from Lexis Web without leaving lexis.com is very beneficial.

The lexis.com enhancements survey was conducted by LexisNexis in October 2010 and sent to 4,700 legal
professionals in the early user group for the re-designed lexis.com interface. Results cited are based on responses
by the more than 200 customers who logged into and used the new interface and enhancements.
