My name is _____________ and I am a constituent and voter in Senator ________’s
district. I am calling to ask the Senator to vote yes on House Joint Resolution 86.

As a responsible (dog owner/breeder- pick one) and Missouri taxpayer, I am concerned
about the proposed ballot measure that will restrict responsible dog breeding. This
proposal would restrict the rights of responsible dog breeders, be very difficult to enforce,
and very expensive for Missouri taxpayers.

Supporting House Joint Resolution 86 will address these concerns by making sure that
Missourians continue to raise animals in a humane manner without causing undue
economic hardship on Missouri animal owners or taxpayers.

I respectfully ask the Senator to vote yes on House Joint Resolution 86 and allow me the
opportunity to vote on this important measure in November.
