This simple tracker not only helps you keep a tab on your bank account balances, it can also break out your spending habits based on categories you assign. Better yet, it is fully customizable to be as detailed or generic as you desire.
To use this tracker, simply enter in your credits and debits as they occur. This way you are constantly aware of your financial status and can avoid costly overdraft fees. To utilize the categories, assign the category name and cell color of your choice to the respective category. For instance, the default file has debts categorized as "Debt" with a cell color of red (font colors have no impact on the categories). With that designation, any debit that I assign a red cell to will show up in the Debt category and be tallied with all other debt entries.
The tracker is fully customizable and can be altered to include additional categories and colors. The information generated is also tallied and compiled as percentages on the included worksheet as a pie chart broken out into percentages.
This is a useful tool that I implemented to improve my fiscal responsibility. Hopefully you will find it as useful, and beneficial, as I have.
