5 Things You Must Do If You Want To Conquer Resell Rights You don't have to be an established guru to sell Private Rights Label products and many have thought they missed the boat during the huge resell rights boom in 2006 and 2007. Just as sure as the sun will rise, there are still fortunes to be had in resell rights, if you know how to do it right. Here are 5 very simple but powerful steps you can use to give you the edge over your resell rights competition regardless of your experience level . Step 1 - Be Original The point to making money with Private Rights Label products is to break the mould and stand out. So many people take the resell rights products they've just purchased and sell it along, as is, with no changes made. How are people going to buy from you when there is nothing to distinguish you from your competition? If you possess Unrestricted Private Label rights, you basically have a license to end all other licenses. You can take full artistic license and alter the content and attach your name as the Author, so do so. If on the other hand, you purchased a Master Resell rights license, you are able to sell on the product and that same license to others, but you must sell it on with the content left intact. The way around this issue while not violating the license you purchased is to create a short, mini report to go along with the resell product you’re selling. There are so many people that aren't doing this and there are even more not doing anything with their resell rights products at all. So take the time to create a stand alone report of your own, it doesn't have to be a masterpiece or 50 pages long. It just has to be something extra that's going to make you stand apart and get noticed from your competitors, I mean look at this way, who would you rather buy from, 50 people offering the exact same product at the same price or one person selling the same product as everyone else but offers a report on how to make money with that product? Step 2 - Mix ' N Match No doubt you've bought resell products in the past, infact I'm willing to bet if you have they're still sitting on your desktop as we speak. We already covered being original in our last point, Mix ' N Matching is an extension of that. Again, most people selling resell rights products don't necessarily lack imagination, they're just not aware of the creative ways they can promote their products. If you have a few packages of resell rights products you don't have to sell them on as you bought them. Remember, the trick is to be original, so instead of selling them the same way as everybody else, and you know they are as this accounts for the same packages cropping up all over the internet. You create a new folder, open your resell rights packages, and pick a few from each package and place them into this new folder essentially creating a new resell package of your own. Step 3 - Change the Leopard's Spots If you have Unrestricted Private Label Rights, you can break the rules. You don't need to confine yourself to the restrictions of the A4 sized screen. Take your written content and turn it on its head. Did you know that so many people, if it is a PLR product you own, chances are that so do lots of other people. What most do, if anything at all is promote the content in the way it was received, that doesn't stop you from altering it into other forms. Instead of the written word, why not convert it into MP3 audio recording, or a video and post it on the 70 odd video sites that are sprouting up like wildfire. You could also shorten the content, lengthen it by fleshing it out, change the table of contents, split the content in volumes, turning then into newsletter content, mini reports, web content. More often than not, the converted PLR is viewed as a completely fresh new product with a brand newshelf life. Give it a go. Step 4 - Don't Go Cheap If there's anything that devalues PLR quickly it's lowering the price to compete with all those dollar and dime sales out there, don't feel pressured to compete by undercutting your price. Remember it takes as much effort to sell something for a dollar as it does to sell something for one hundred dollars, the only difference being that with the one hundred dollar product you only had to sell one. Don’t let your energy or efforts be misplaced, go where the money is. People associate quality with price and if you're following the above steps you’re well on your way towards stepping out of the crowd. Step 5 - Know How to Sell Originality has its benefits and will definitely get yours extra brownie points but capitalize on your products strong points, if you have a point of difference from all the other merchants out there than promote that, make it your strongest selling point which will give you the advantage over all of your competitors who are just scraping by. Remember, it's whoever stands out that gets the sale, be unique and give people a reason to buy from you rather than the dozens who are selling the same thing you are.
