					The Chancellor has met the following outside interest groups in the period 01
October to 31 December. Some meetings falling within this period have not be
disclosed, and are withheld under the FOI Act under section 35 (1) (a) because in
those instances the meetings were specifically on policy development, and it is not
considered to be in the public interest to release that information at this time. Some
meetings have also been withheld under section 29 (1)(a), as release of these meetings
may prejudice the economic interests of the UK and it is not considered to be in the
public interest to release that information at this time. In addition to these meetings
the Chancellor has, in the course of their ministerial duties, also met with Members of
Parliament, Peers, and Officials. Some meetings that are already a matter of public
record have not been included as they are exempt under section 21.
