PRODUCT IDENTIFICATION STROMATOLYSER-EO™ is an In Vitro Eosinophil counting reagent for use on designated Sysmex Automated Hematology Analyzers. It is provided in a cardboard cube with a plastic liner.

This value is an extrapolation based on literature references, no animal studies were performed. The minimum and maximum tolerated human exposures for this product are not known. PHYSICAL DATA Clear aqueous solution, strong musty odor from surfactants. Alkaline solution, approximate 9.0 pH. Specific Gravity at 25° C ≈ 1.001. Exact physical properties have not been determined but are expected to approximate water, which is its major component.


FIRE AND EXPLOSION DATA Not combustible. Under fire conditions may produce alkaline vapor and emit carbon monoxide fumes.


REACTIVITY DATA Stable solution.

HEALTH HAZARD DATA Mild irritant to skin, and eyes. Irritant to respiratory tract on inhalation of mist. Ingestion may cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Suggested First Aid Procedures ο ο ο ο Ingestion: Obtain medical attention. Dilute/inactivate by giving 4 to 8 oz. of water or milk. If vomiting occurs, turn patient on side and keep head lower than hips. May cause esophageal irritation. Inhalation: Move patient to fresh air. Obtain medical advice. Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected area with soap and water. Eye Contact: Promptly wash eyes with tepid water for 15 minutes or until all traces of irritation is removed. If irritation persists obtain medical evaluation.


SPILLS LEAKS AND DISPOSAL PROCEDURES Wear gloves, safety glasses or goggles and a lab coat. Dike, contain and absorb the spill with neutral absorbent material, place in a closed container for disposal. Dispose of waste in accordance with applicable local, state and federal environmental regulations.


STORAGE AND SPECIAL INFORMATION Store at controlled room temperature away from heat and sunlight to ensure reagent performance.
