Like so many baby boomers, I began to be concerned with my
financial security during my retirement years. I worried … I fretted
… I put pencil to paper trying to find comfort in numbers. Finally, I
prayed for an answer to my fears. Patience is not one of my virtues,
but that was what the answer appeared to be. So, I gathered as
much patience as I could muster and continued to work in my salon.
I have been a small business owner for 28 years and knew that as
long as I worked I would bring in enough to remain financially sta-
