E Y E O N eoa A R B O N N E IMPOSSIBLE WITH GRACE Talk about a crazy journey! That is what I thought when NVP Jammi Sivadon of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, wanted to travel all the way up to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to have an Arbonne spa Presentation at my home in October 2005. I asked her if she knew it was a 10-hour drive! Jammi and my brother, Kyle, had been good friends since they used to work together at an insurance company in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I thought that since Jammi was willing to drive all the way up here, I should make it worth her while. I invited all of the women I knew and sent out an appeal letter begging them to come. We had no idea what we were in for … soon, many of us would join Jammi on a different kind of crazy journey, as we began to build our own Arbonne businesses. Our first stop on the journey found us in love with the fabulous Arbonne products. We were all completely hooked! The products are still the basis of our success as we continue to grow as a team. We remain so proud to offer such quality products to our family and friends. In November, Jenn Dawes; Kay Husman; my sister, Kirsten Biondi and I formed the core of our new, fired-up South Dakota team. We nicknamed our team the “Team of Grace” for several reasons. First, we wanted to be graceful when presenting the products and the opportunity. If someone did not want to be involved, we would let their no be a no, and gracefully move on. We also wanted our team to treat each other, and our new business builders, with a great deal of grace and respect. We work together as a team to put new business builders on the road to District Manager. Many have joined our ACHIEVING THE Independent Consultant, Regional Vice President Melissa Dykstra Region; Sioux Falls, SD melissa dykstra team because of this spirit and our enthusiasm. Often, several uplines are present at a new business builders’ launch event to lend support. My main goal has been to be sure a new team member does not feel uncomfortable or unsure of themselves. I never want anyone to think we have sold some product to them, and then left them on their own to figure out how to be successful with the business. Finally, it was obvious to me from the start that this business is truly a gift of continued ... Darin, Melissa, Matt and Ellie Dykstra. Melissa’s Why: Son, Matt and daughter, Ellie. The changes we have seen already have been nothing short of miraculous. Our journey has been an absolute blast! We have had so much fun sharing Arbonne. I have been blessed by new friendships and am thankful to work with women who I respect and adore on a daily basis. In five months, I completed my journey to Regional Vice President and now drive the first, white Arbonne Mercedes-Benz in South Dakota, after participating in the Arbonne Mercedes-Benz Cash Bonus Program. The Arbonne opportunity came out of nowhere. I am thankful every day for the unexpected blessings this business has brought to my life. I have gone from carrying around the heavy weight of knowing we have too much financial debt, to having a joyful hope of knowing we now have the potential to pay off those burdens very soon. I spend my days encouraging amazing women to succeed with their own businesses, and help them work through difficulties and celebrate successes. I know I will look back on these last few months as an incredible time in my life. From now on, no one will ever be able to convince me that something is impossible. Through grace, all things become possible. To NVP Jammi Sivadon: Thank you for making the journey. You are an incredible motivator and presenter, and we are thankful to draw upon your leadership. Your belief in me was present from the beginning and I appreciate that. To AM Jenn Dawes: You have blessed my life beyond measure and I am thankful to you for seeing what Arbonne could be for all of us … even before we did. Your steady, faithful friendship is appreciated so much. To AM Kay Husman: Talk about energy! You completely define the word and have been an inspiration to me. It is a blessing to share the leadership of our growing team with you. I could not ask for a more competent business partner and friend. Ready for your keys? To my dear sister, AM Kirsten Biondi: As your little sis, I have wanted nothing more than to simply spend as much time with you as possible. You are the “cool” one … hands down! One of the biggest blessings of this business is that we share it. You have become an amazing leader and I am so proud of you. The testimonials in this story reflect the actual experience of an individual, are anecdotal only, and may be atypical. To Area Managers, Rebecca Mork and Carolyn Ribstein: Thank you for hopping on this journey with us so quickly! I am proud to know both of you and it is fun to see you reaching your goals. You have worked hard and your success is well deserved. To District Managers, Sue Arntz, Sharese Ihnen, Ruth KruegerParkinson, Shannon Larson, Pam Winter, Cheryl Raysloy-Park and Sally Woods: Thank you for your hard work and enthusiasm. The journey would not have been as exciting, if it had not been for you. You are becoming great leaders for your own teams and I am blessed to be a part of the fun. To our DMs-in-qualification and new business builders: I hope you feel how much we care about you and that we stand ready to help you reach your goals. District Manager is right around the corner … and from there, the sky is the limit! To my husband, Darin, and our kids, Matt and Ellie: Thank you for your incredible support and for being so understanding about mom being gone a bit more often. Our time together is even more precious to me now and I love you very much.
