THE POWER
OF INTENTION
My Arbonne journey started about three years ago when my sweet friend, Stephanie, asked me to start an Arbonne business with her. Of course, I had to say yes, because a couple of months earlier, I had asked her to join a bodybuilding competition with me. That was something I thought she would never do, just like network marketing was something I thought I would never do. So, speaking from experience, never say never. Sometimes the things you thought you would never do are the things which change your life. I am here to tell you that Arbonne has changed my life, and I am thankful every day for this gift. I am blessed daily with an abundance that is a direct consequence of allowing Arbonne into my world. I have experienced such personal growth on my Arbonne journey and it has helped strengthen my faith. I have forged new and lasting friendships with people I might not have otherwise met, all because of my Arbonne business. And, I have changed the course of my family’s future. Now, we have so many options to look forward to and the time to enjoy our lives to the fullest. That feels so good. For me, the first step was learning what to ask for. I learned that when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at also change. Now, I have an open mind about everything. Before Arbonne came along, I had been in the fitness industry for 26 years and had a deep passion for helping people. While I am here on this earth, I want to make a difference in the lives of the people who are placed in my life. I am able to do that even more, now that I have Arbonne to share with them. Throughout my 26-year

career, I thought I was doing everything I was meant for. The Arbonne opportunity showed me there was a whole world out there waiting to be explored and shared. But, in order to have that chance, I had to step out in faith and be led in that direction. When you come to the realization that what you are presently doing is not going to give you what you want, you have to embrace the opportunity to change the course of your life. Arbonne was the chance of a lifetime and I needed to take it. When your plan A leaves you totally out in the cold — even though you poured your heart and soul into it — you must be strong enough to walk away. Everyone should

always have a plan B, because life will throw you a curve and you may wake up one day and realize it is time to move on and up. I was a “closet” Arbonne person when I signed up, trying not to let my husband know I was doing Arbonne, since he did not believe. He kept saying only the people at the top ever make money. I told him to hang on because I was going to the top. When I say this journey has changed all of our lives and beliefs, I mean that it has affected my whole family, even the ones who thought I was crazy. So, I am here to tell you that if you feel passionate about something, do not let that passion die inside you. Keep it alive and change the minds of the nonbelievers. Even though I understand my husband was only trying to protect me from disappointment, I knew all I needed to do was share my passion and enthusiasm for this business and eventually, he would catch the vision. Now, the best part of all is we are going to the top together. To know this is just the beginning, and that I have the ability to touch thousands more lives, makes me feel blessed beyond words. To Stephanie Ferreira: You gave me the gift of Arbonne just for doing that crazy bodybuilding competition with me. To Stephanie’s sister, Kim Woods: Thank you for traveling all over the states to find a way to do this opportunity. To Bonnie Erickson: You are such an amazing leader and giver. I feel like it is Christmas every month when the mail comes and there is a package from you. You are the most giving and downto-earth person I have ever met. I want to be just like you and give back to everyone. To Mary Worthen and Carol Iverson: Thanks for sticking with me, even when you were my only District Managers for two years, had doubts about the business and were constantly telling me, “I do not know if this is for me.” Well, now I am telling you, it is definitely for you and all of the lives you are impacting now as Area Managers and RVPs-in-qualification. To the rest of our team: I am so blessed to have met you, and build a relationship and business together. You are in the right place at the right time, because I am dedicated to you.
Lastly, I want to thank the ones I do this for — the three men in my life. To my husband, Patrick: I want to give back by earning the potential to take the financial burden off of you. You have provided for our family so amazingly on a coach’s salary. I admire you for that and for all the young lives you have helped change in all your years of coaching. I wanted to love what I did as much as you love what you do. With Arbonne, I can honestly say that I do. To my pride and joy, my two awesome sons, Derek and Dusty: You have always believed in me. I have learned so much from you both about passion and following your dreams. God gave you both a talent to entertain the world, so I have no doubts that your careers will explode on stage and film. It was because of your persistence in never losing sight of your dreams, and the knowledge that God puts talents and gifts into our lives for a reason, that kept you both on track in pursuing your ambitions. I am so proud of you and I thank God for letting me be your mother. Now that you are both involved with Arbonne businesses, we will blaze a trail as a family on our way to the top of Arbonne.
