WORTH GIVING
My Arbonne journey began in November 2004 when my longtime friend, who is now NVP Kristen Salas, gave me a sample of Arbonne’s NutriMinC® RE9® anti-aging skin care line. I immediately noticed wonderful results after using it. My skin was hydrated and glowing. I loved the product so I signed up to be a Consultant right away in order to receive my product discount. My best friend, EDM Lisa Nehk, also noticed a difference in my skin and asked me what I was using, and I told her about the skin care products. She said she could not wait to try them! Since Kristen was having her Arbonne business launch Presentation that week, I invited Lisa so she could sample the incredible products. I also invited my other dear friend, ERVP Kim Pollak, to join us. Unlike Lisa, Kim had no intention of coming and told me “no” five times. Finally, however, I wore her down and she ended up going, informing me that she was only there to get me off her back about this Arbonne stuff. By the end of the Presentation, both Lisa and Kim were so excited about the products that they signed up to be Consultants along with me. My friend and sponsor, Kristen, was so excited for me. She knew that as a top realtor in my company, I would also be great at Arbonne. I quickly told her I was not interested in the Arbonne business, only the products. I was not looking to get involved in a home-based business. I had no extra time with my demanding real estate career and I certainly was not hurting for money, since I was already making a healthy, six-figure annual income. So, I wished her luck with her new business venture and went on with my life. In May 2005, Kristen told me that she was now an Area Manager with Arbonne and that her sponsor, who is ENVP Amme Weilert, had at the time just become the first RVP in our town of Temecula and was now driving a white Mercedes-Benz. A week later, Kristen told me Amme’s sister-in-law, ERVP Annette Warburton, became an RVP in

just five-and-a-half months and was going to be presented with her Mercedes-Benz. I saw my friends having fun, having the potential to make money and moving up the Arbonne ladder. With my 40th birthday approaching in June, I had some choices to make. I could turn 40 and have it be like all the other years leading up to it; or, I could build my Arbonne business and make it the most amazing year of my entire life by becoming an Arbonne VP. Even though my real estate income was great, I realized that I was no longer enjoying myself. My cell phone rang 24/7 and I did not own my own life anymore … it owned me. The mounting stress was starting to take a toll on me and my family. Did I really want to do this for another 10 years? When it came right down to it, I realized that life is all about having choices and I felt I had none. This had to change. I grabbed my two best friends, Lisa and Kim, and told them we needcontinued ...

ed to go to an Arbonne “Opportunity” Presentation at Amme’s home to find out more. I had a sinking feeling that Arbonne was going to be taking off with or without us, and I definitely did not want to miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime. After the Presentation, the three of us decided that we had nothing to lose and everything to gain since we already loved the products. After all, what was the worst thing that could happen to us? At the very least, we would still get our wonderful products at a discount. So, in June 2005, we headed out on our Arbonne journey together, embracing the vision and belief in the company and the products. We were advised to plug into all the trainings, follow the duplicatable system and teach others to do the same. They said this was the only road to RVP. Thanks to the hard work of our teams, Kim Pollak and I completed qualification for Region in March 2006. I am happy to report that my 40th year has turned out to be one of the best I have ever had on this earth! Not only am I driving a beautiful, white Mercedes-Benz, but I also have the potential for financial freedom and the opportunity to work with my friends in helping to change lives. This business is truly a gift worth giving, as well as receiving. To ENVP Amme Weilert and Chris Weilert: Thank you for being Arbonne pioneers in our town and having the belief and vision to make your dreams come true. You are truly amazing! To my friend and sponsor, NVP Kristen Salas: Thank you for continuing to “drip” Arbonne on me, even when I did not see the big picture. Because of your perseverance, I now see it! To ERVP Kim Pollak: I am so glad you stopped saying “no” to me and jumped into this with both feet in June! I hope we always have our 7:30 a.m. phone calls to start our Arbonne day. You are my rock. To the Whitworth Region: Give yourself a big hand for a job well done. You deserve the success. To EDM Lisa Nehk: This business has transformed you into a confident and joyful person. Keep going on your Arbonne journey because
great things are just around the corner for you. Thank you for imagining “what if?” To all my DMs and Consultants: It is so exciting to watch each of you grow and succeed in your businesses. The best is yet to come. Dream big and never give up. I cannot wait for us to all be at the top together. To all my downline, upline and crossline Arbonne friends: You are the reason this is all possible. The spirit of teamwork is alive and well in the hearts of everyone involved with Arbonne. To my Why, the love of my life and best friend, my husband, Joe, and my wonderful son, Joey: Thank you for your patience. Although it was not always easy, I knew that it would be so worth it. I could not have built this business without your help. Our future shines brighter now! To President Rita Davenport and the entire Arbonne Executive Team: Thank you for this opportunity of a lifetime!
