My grandparents raised me in the small rural town of
Adairsville, Georgia. My grandfather took me to work with him
on his construction sites from the time I was a little girl. He had
always been self-employed and enjoyed what he did. Working
with him planted a seed in my heart to become my own boss
and have the freedom of a flexible schedule someday.

would not have believed I would own a business someday. All
of this changed when I turned 19, when I became a data proces-
