WORK THE PASSION
BACK INTO YOUR BUSINESS
I began in the cosmetic business 34 years ago as a cosmetologist. Knowing I had children at home who needed me while I worked long hours, I decided not to work outside the home. I wanted to be home with my girls. After giving birth to my third daughter I decided I wanted to make some extra money. I was content making an extra $50 working for another skin care company. However, after six-and-a-half years of going nowhere with that company, I discovered Arbonne. I tried the products and could not believe how great my skin felt. I just knew I had to work for this company. Wanting to work for Arbonne was later reinforced when I met Founder Petter Mørck. I just knew this was the company I needed to work for. His passion and love for the company — and Consultants — was phenomenal. I remember how he would worry that Arbonne would grow so much he would no longer know people by name. One of my first Arbonne memories is how the Consultants worked so hard doing facials at all the Presentations. We all thought this was the way to quickly grow our business, when in fact it was the long-drawn-out way. I now look back at the way I ran my Arbonne business before and see how it was running me instead. About a-year-and-a-half ago I was ready to throw in the towel. I was burned out and tired of spinning my wheels. The love and passion I once had for the business was gone. I needed to decide whether to quit or make it happen. I chose to make it happen because there was nothing else I wanted to do. I loved Arbonne and

the wonderful people I worked with. I wanted to continue to travel and work with them, so I prayed to God and the answer was clear after two weeks. I immediately changed my attitude and got to work. I started to get on all the conference calls ENVP Phoebe James and ENVP Deanna Wilkinson held. It became clear to me that I had to start working on myself and get my passion for the business back. The best advice I could ever give people working their way to the top of Arbonne is to never doubt the success they will obtain. Whenever you feel like quitting, call your upline. I am incredibly grateful for the support I have received from my Arbonne friends and upline. It never ceases

to amaze me that I have been able to travel to Hawaii; London, England; Texas; Arizona; California; Chicago; Boston; Washington D.C.; New Orleans; Colorado; Utah and Tennessee — not to mention all the incredible cruises! If it were not for Arbonne I would not have been able to tour the world. I look forward to witnessing my team grow. I will be your coach and cheerleader to lend a hand so that you all can achieve your goals and dreams. It is a lot of work but the view from the top is worth it! Among the rewards of getting the coveted Mercedes-Benz is the satisfaction of knowing you helped others along the way to the top. The best things in life do not come easy; it is why we must work so hard to attain them. To my daughters: Thank you for always being there for me. To my husband: You have always been there for me through all of the ups and downs, and always believed in me. What an incredible journey this has been for us. There is so much I would love to say that cannot be put into words, most of it is feelings I have for you in my heart. To my SuccessLine: You each know how much I love and care for you. You all have granted me the strength to fly again! You are the “wind beneath my wings.” It is the perfect theme for our Region. To my lifelong friend, EAM Nicole Bolde: You have been by my side right from the start. We met over 20 years ago and continue to work together. To my team in Pennsylvania: All your hard work helped get
us to Region! To AM Linda Leitel, DMs Megan Jones, Bert Kelly and Robin Vaughn. To my team in Michigan, AM Eileen Kolar and Holly Casaroll; DMs, Kathy Lozowski, Lisa Glasgow, Lana Heater and Marian Mullen: Thank you! To all the soon-to-be DMs in Florida, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Arizona: I am excited and looking forward to all of our futures. We have only just begun! I would like to thank Petter for the dream and vision, as well as ENVP Phoebe James, Stian, Rita, Candace and the Home Office staff. I live every day with so much passion for the love of God, my family, this company and the Consultants I work with. It is great to wake up every day and know where you are going. I thank God every day for giving me strength to go on … all you have to do is ask and you shall receive! Thank you Arbonne for the incredible journey, and for the future we all have with this extraordinary company!
