Sat. Sept. 25 - Fee Free for Public Lands Day, “What’s Your Wild?” presentations by local groups, Take A Child
Outside Day, Families in Nature kick-off; Coastal Cleanup - Call Ranger David Moody for information about
Cleanup, especially groups.
Sat. Oct. 2 - Photo Class with Ranger Barney Parker. Meet at the Visitor Center at 9:00 a.m. Reservation required.
Sat. Oct. 9 Sat. Oct. 16 - Fee free for National Wildlife Refuge Week. Visit the Refuge and take a walk, take a photo,
see wildlife, relax!
Sun. Oct. 10 - THE BIG SIT family birding activity - meet at the lighthouse. Call the refuge for times.
Mon. Oct. 11—Columbus Day Holiday—Visitor Center open.
Thurs. Oct. 14 - TOTS on TRAILS 11:00 am at Visitor Center. Call 850-925-121 to register.
Friday Oct. 15 - Pools close to all boats until March 15 to reduce disturbance to migrating birds.

Nov. 1 - Small game permits can be picked up at Visitor Center. Hunt Dec. 26 - Jan. 9 on the Panacea and Wakulla
Wakulla Archery Hunt - Tues. Nov. 2 – Sat. Nov. 6. Must have permit.
Sat. Nov. 6 - Wildlife Photo Class. Meet at the Visitor Center at 9:00 am. Reservation required.
Sun. Nov. 7 - Time changes so gate will open at 6:00 am and close at 7:00 pm.
Tues. Nov. 9 through Sat. Nov. 13, Panacea Archery Hunt. Must have permit.
Nov. 11 Veterans Day Holiday- Fee Free Day- Visitor Center Open. Tots On Trails, Must register.
