• Confirm Password: Retype your password • Language: In the drop-down list, click the language for the BlackBerry Internet Service web site. Write down your user ID and password and keep the information in a safe place. You must type this information every time that you log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service web site. Click Sign Up. Perform one of the following actions: • To add an email address for an existing supported email account, type the full email address (for example, yourname@zoomtown.com). Type the password for your email account. • To create a BlackBerry email address, in the Username field, type the name that you want to appear before the “at” sign (@) in your new BlackBerry email address. Click Next. Click OK.

Setting up for email using the BlackBerry Internet Service
Use the instructions in this booklet to set up your ISP email with the new BlackBerry Internet Service® v2.3 using a web browser on your BlackBerry smartphone, or on a computer. To set up for email, you must create a login ID and password. The first time that you log in to the BlackBerry Internet Service web site, you can add a supported email address, create a BlackBerry email address, or do both. • Add an email address if you have an existing, supported email account that you want to access from your BlackBerry smartphone (such as Fuse® or ZoomTown®). • Create a BlackBerry email address if you do not have another existing, supported email account, or if you need an additional email address that you can use to send and receive email messages.
• Alternately, in the set-up wizard (which starts automatically the first time you turn on your BlackBerry smartphone), on the email set-up screen, select I want to create or add an email address. 2. Click Next. 3. If necessary, click Update Now. 4. Click Create New Account. 5. To accept the terms of the license agreement, select the I have read and understand the End User Agreement option or check box. Click I Accept. 6. Type a login user name of your choice for the email set-up application or the email set-up website. 7. Type a login password of six or more characters. Click Next. 8. Record your user name and password in a safe place. 9. Perform one of the following actions: • If you want to associate an existing, supported email address with your BlackBerry smartphone, you will need to do one of the following depending on your BlackBerry smartphone: • Under Email Account Set-Up enter your existing email address and password, and click Next, then enter your existing email address (such as yourname@zoomtown.com) and password.
• OR Click I would like to use my existing email address, click Next. • If you want to create a new email address for your BlackBerry smartphone (for example, yourname@cinbell.blackberry.com), you will need to do one of the following depending on your BlackBerry smartphone: • Click Create a BlackBerry email address. • OR Click I would like to create a new BlackBerry email address. Type the user name that you want to appear before the (@) sign in your new BlackBerry email address. Click Next. To return to the set-up wizard, click Log Out or Close. BlackBerry® Enterprise Server option: Use this option to associate your BlackBerry smartphone with a Microsoft® Outlook, IBM® Lotus® Notes® or Novell® GroupWise® work email account and to take advantage of advanced wireless data synchronization capabilities. If your system administrator has provided you with an enterprise activation password, you can set-up email using this option by selecting ‘I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server’ in the set-up wizard on your BlackBerry smartphone. If you do not have an enterprise activation password, contact your system administrator.

To use this set-up option, the following items are required: • Internet browser: Microsoft® Internet Explorer version 6.0 (or later) or Netscape® Communicator version 7.2 (or later) with JavaScript™ enabled • Operating system: Microsoft Windows® 2000, Windows XP or Mac OS® 10.3 (or later) 1. Verify that the computer is connected to the Internet. 2. Type in the web address field of a web browser, www.cincinnatibell.com/blackberrystart 3. Click Create New Account. 4. Read the legal terms and conditions carefully. Perform on of the following actions: • To decline the legal terms and conditions and stop the set-up process, click No. • To accept the legal terms and conditions and continue the set-up process, click Yes. 5. Type the personal information number (PIN) and International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) or electronic serial number (ESN) for your device. Note: To find your PIN and IMEI or ESN, in the device Options, click Status. 6. Click Continue. 7. Type the login information. • User ID: Create and type a login name for the BlackBerry Internet Service web site (This should not be an email address). • Password: Type a personal login password for the BlackBerry Internet Service web site.
