                            members and state-of-the art infrastructure.
                            In today’s dynamic global environment, IMT Ghaziabad continuously
                            strives to bring global perspective to all its programmes and activities.
                            While the latest technologies drive the infrastructure, the institute has
                            encouraged an increasing overseas exposure for its students. Exchange

                            Director IMT, Nagpur

                            The Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Nagpur has made
                            rapid strides in its three years of existence, making a name for itself
                            for academic excellence, research contributions, executive development
                            and industry interface. A large number of eminent and highly qualified
                            faculty have joined and shall be joining the institute. Our vision is to
                            emerge as one of the leading business schools nationally as well as
                            internationally.
                            Rapid changes are taking place in the business environment as a result
                            of globalization and the frequent breakthrough advances in information
                            and communication technologies. The courses offered at IMT Nagpur
                            are geared towards equipping the students to meet the challenges that
                            organizations have to face in the highly competitive and technologically
                            advanced business environment of today. The institute has the state-
                            of-the art infrastructure and facilities and the academic environment
                            combines academic rigour with a high level of industry interaction.
                            Practitioners from the industry come and interact with the students
                            and the faculty on a regular basis.
                            The first batch of students graduated in March 2006 and secured very

                            Going back to business school or continuing your management education
                            at the graduate level is a decisive decision in your life; one that will shape

                            Student life is always at a high in the fully residential

                            students from various parts of the country provides
                            valuable educational input. The campus is lush green, a
                            botanical garden in itself, decorated by an amphitheatre.
                            The diversity of options inside the classrooms is mirrored
                            by the spectrum of opportunities outside the class.
                            Students are directly involved in every facet of IMT life,
                            creating opportunities and utilizing them, dealing in life-
                            size projects that instill a great deal of confidence. Each
                            student has the opportunity to come up with ideas and
                            see through its implementation, to learn by doing and by
                            experiencing the real world.
                            A large number of students clubs and committees give
                            all an opportunity to express the best of them and learn
                            from the best of others.

                            Student Affairs
                            At the centre of all activities, Student Affairs
                            coordinates among all other clubs and committees and is
                            instrumental in aligning their goals and objectives with
                            that of the institution. Students have a major role to
                            play in making operational all the major events such as
                            convocation, admission counseling, hostel allocation and
                            student orientation among many others, and this gives
                            the students a first hand experience managing roles and
                            responsibilities. Apart from this, the Student Affairs
                            Committee or SAC, as it is often called, also coordinates
                            and organizes various events and festivals throughout
                            the year.

                            Media
                            This is the conduit for information leading from IMT
                            to the outside world. It is responsible for generating
                            awareness and media coverage for events taking place
                            at IMT, in effect being its spokesperson who manages
                            the perception of the institution. It helps to promote the
                            initiatives taken by the institution towards advancing
                            quality management education.

                            Business Thought Leader
                            Interaction with industry must be a key imperative in
                            any business school, to hone managerial potential. Better
                            known as the BTL, this committee creates platforms
                            for students’ interactions with corporate with a view to

ongoing changes in curricula to stay abreast with the
needs and focus of the industry. At the heart of this
committee is the zest to stay apace with these changes
by reviewing academic curricula on an ongoing
basis, suggesting necessary changes as per industry
requirements and ensuring quality value addition for the
student mangers.

Sports
The aim of this committee is to offset the rigours of
B-school academics with sport events held throughout
the year. For those inclined towards sports there is
CHAKRAVYUH, the 3 day, 72 hours non-stop sports
festival enveloping sports from Chess to Soccer, all
contributing to better, well - rounded personalities.
The Entrepreneurship Cell, RACE (Research and
Consultancy Enterprise) and Finnacle (Mutual fund of
IMT students) continuously cater to the students and
help them develop an aptitude for analysis and reasoning.
Knowing that ‘all work and no play make Jack a dull
boy’ has prompted the formation of the Adventure Inc.
and the Literary Club which give the students freedom
for their mind and body, to express them and to stretch
their limits.

Inter-college Activities Tatva
It is a one-day national level summer training project
presentation contest. It is a one-of-its-kind event and
provides a platform to understand and appreciate the
different perspectives and methodologies of students
from different business schools

Passion
The highlight of the year is the 72 hour non-stop Inter
B-school management festival PASSION patronised
by all top B-schools in the country. Passion is an
international event which witnesses students from
various schools across the globe converging to compete
with one each other.

Symposiums And Conferences
Students often initiate and become part of national/
international level conferences and symposiums. These
conferences are not only enriching in their content
but also a great learning opportunity for those who
organise it.
