                                  Female cancer screening
Health Services, in conjunction with St. Clare's Hospital, will host the annual female cancer screening
from 2 - 4 pm., Tuesday, May 11 in the Health Services office, B-222.
All women should have an annual pelvic exam and pap smear. Any woman over the age of 40 should
have a clinical breast exam every year by a health care provider and a breast self-exam monthly. The
American Cancer Society recommends that all women who have reached the age of 18, or who have
been sexually active, have a pap test and pelvic exam every year.

The screening will consist of:
    • a clinical breast exam
    • pelvic exam
    • Thin Prep (replaces the pap smear)
The fee is $35, checks only, payable to CCM. Registration will continue through May 5. For more
information on cancer screening, contact Health Services at ext. 5160.
